The Business Operations lead will be responsible for overseeing and optimizing the day-to-day operations of the business. This role requires a strategic thinker with strong interpersonal & presentation skills and the ability to drive operational excellence across various departments. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in managing business operations, improving processes, and ensuring the efficient functioning of the organization. In incumbent is required to demonstrate a good understanding of concepts and procedures within his/her own discipline and ensure a high quality of services/tasks are delivered.Core competencies, knowledge, and experience:

  • Financial Acumen: Strong understanding of financial principles, including budget management, cost control, and financial reporting
  • Strategic Planning and Analysis: The ability to anticipate future needs and develop strategies to meet them
  • Project Management: Track record in managing and delivering strategic projects
  • Data-Driven Decision Making: Ability to analyse data and make informed decisions based on insights and trends
  • Communication: Excellent communication skills to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and senior management
Technology Proficiency: Expert proficiency in Microsoft Office tools, particularly PowerPoint, Word, and Excel
  • Excellent organizational skills with an ability to think proactively and prioritize work.
Must have Technical / Professional Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree course in Accounting/ Commerce
  • A minimum of 10-12 + years working in an operational function within matrix organizations.
  • Depth of knowledge in telecoms and business understanding is added advantage
  • Track record in managing and delivering strategic projects
  • Proficient in advanced excel & PPT.
  • Strong analytical skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and senior management.
  • Detail-oriented with a high level of accuracy in work.
Job Responsibility:
  • P&L Governance: Oversee and manage the governance of the Profit and Loss statements, ensuring accuracy, consistency, and compliance with accounting standards.
Financial Planning & Budgeting - 5+7; 9+3 & 9+15: Travels, Headcount, Staff welfare, L&D, IT. Develop, monitor, and manage budgets, ensuring alignment with D&A COE goals and financial targets.
  • Financial Reporting: Prepare and present financial reports to senior management, highlighting key insights, variances, and actionable recommendations. Monthly validation of financial reports, re-class costs if any.
  • Headcount management - approved vs active, CC & RM mapping validation, corrections, business cases: approved and WIP, prepare & share monthly FTE summary
  • Audit management -Stay compliant in all audits - Fraud, BCP, ISO, Tax etc.
  • Cost Control: Identify areas for cost optimization and implement strategies to enhance financial efficiency and reduce unnecessary expenditures. Cost center creation as per approved BC.
  • Support LT as needed with people and training agenda - People strategy, People plan, Townhalls, Annual day etc. People survey - Analysis, planning & action
  • Customer satisfaction Survey - Analysis, action planning & submission, Reviews and tracking.
  • Manpower planning and tracking through Recruitment, Referrals, Open positions tracking.
Establish & maintain Service catalogue & tech stack for team; Productivity & progress KPIs; Governance & ways of working with stakeholders; RCSA (Risk Control Self-Assessment) .
