Job Description

Own the end-to-end purchase order process for the Products team, focused on software, infrastructure, consulting, and CAPEX cost categories. Duties includes: Issuing purchase requisitions (PR) - ensuring that spend is linked to approved initiative and is in-budget, opening them and shepherding to approval in a timely manner, applying correct accounting coding to PRs (GL codes, departments, etc.). On-boarding new vendors - working with Procurement team to onboard new vendors in the Procurement system. Managing live purchase orders (PO) - accruing for POs on a monthly basis so all expenses are recorded to the appropriate month and cost centers, ensuring that invoices are paid in a timely manner. Closing or renewing fully delivered POs - bringing expiring POs to PO owners\' attention to ensure continuity of service, issuing PO change orders. Contribute to the planning, reporting, and forecasting for these cost categories. Duties include: Collaborate with Product Ops colleagues to build the plan view and obtain proper approvals, based on inputs from Product Leaders and business partners. Partner with FP&A, Product stakeholders, IT, and Accounting to develop and track monthly forecasted spend and variance analysis. Ensure proper governance and controls are maintained (e.g. seeking approvals for projects). Proactively evaluate project trends, expense trends, and forecast data to identify potential financial impact activities. Prepare monthly presentations for stakeholders and leadership reviews with Plan vs Actuals update Prepare recurring and ad-hoc reports for areas of responsibility Education Requirements: Bachelor\'s Degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or CA, or equivalent education and experience Experience Requirements: 7+ years of overall work experience (with a technology organization is a plus) Must have Vendor and PO management experience Public Cloud (Azure, AWS, OCI, GCP) cost management experience is a plus Experience leading cost reduction initiatives is a plus Skill Requirements: Minimum Bachelors/4 Yr Degree in Accounting, Finance, or Economics must have. Strong communication skills, written and verbal, at all levels of the organization. Excellent Excel and Modeling, and Powerpoint skills.
