About Client Data Management (CDM)

Client Data Management is responsible for the provision, operational support, and management of Party (Client) data along with Account Opening and Maintenance in downstream applications, to enable controlled client business and trading relationships and further enhancing the completeness, effectiveness, and efficiency of our Client Perimeter management.

Role Description

As a Business Manager, you will be accountable to assist in the delivery of projects within agreed scopes, timelines, and costs. Projects can include corporate strategy, operations improvement, organizational transformation as well as traditional development projects. You will also be responsible for organizational support including the ability to perform a range of tasks by providing leadership within the regional team\xe2\x80\x99s operations productivity and efficiency goals, including globally when required, oversee such activities as HR administration, management and performs miscellaneous job-related functions as assigned.

Your Key Responsibilities
  • Responsible for monitoring departmental costs and liaising with the Global COO and assisting with data analysis and other special projects as assigned to deliver greatest value to the business.
  • Collation, analysis, and quality check of presentations made by department
  • Interaction with senior managers and key stakeholders to drive prioritization
  • Support Regional CDM lead in day-to-day business management ensuring standard practices and governance across the region and developing site level strategy
  • Assist with the Mgmt. of the Vendor Risk Management (VRM) process for the department, owning within region
  • Responsible for the activities of the BCM Coordinators of each business line in region, driving the Global BCP strategy across the organization
  • Prepare materials (presentations/analysis/metrics) for Senior Mgmt. within the team/region/for Regional Lead & Global COO
  • Coordination point of contact in region for the function at site level representation
  • Ensure set up of new joiners for all access requirements
  • Train regional managers annually on HR related tasks
  • Drive hiring for the region, working closely with talent acquisition, vendors, management team.
  • Ensure employees have adequate resources to meet expectations
  • Willingness to explore opportunities to add value to the organization\xe2\x80\x99s core initiatives
Your Skills & Experience
  • A proven track record of project management and delivery
  • Financials management experience
  • Knowledge of management principles and practices
  • Proficiency with MS Office with expertise in PowerPoint and Excel
  • A professional, mature approach with high integrity
  • Confident and able to successfully interact with senior mgmt. across several stakeholder groups
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively with a wide range of constituencies in a high energy environment. Excellent communication skill and the ability to excel in a matrix structured working environment
  • Ability to work independently with minimal reliance on others
Skills That Will Help You Excel:
  • 6+ years of proven experience in Business Management / COO role, project management etc. preferably in Investment Banking
  • Working knowledge of Data Analytics tools like Alteryx, Tableau, Python etc would be an added advantage.
  • Thorough understanding of diverse business processes and strategy development
  • Excellent organizational and leadership skills
  • Ability to learn new practices and procedures quickly
  • Attention to details and ability to multi-task
  • The ability to work under pressure and within tight deadlines with no loss of accuracy
  • Must be a team player, determined and hardworking
