The role involves sourcing and onboarding MSMEs/SMEs/business owners for unsecured and secured business loans, guiding them through the loan process, and achieving assigned sales targets. The ideal candidate should have a good understanding of small business finance and strong relationship-building skills.
Key Responsibilities:
Identify and generate leads
for business loan products through cold calls, field visits, referrals, and networking.
Understand business requirements
and assess loan eligibility based on financial documents and business profile.
Pitch appropriate loan solutions
(secured/unsecured) based on customer needs and risk profile.
Explain loan products
, interest rates, repayment terms, documentation requirements, and application process clearly.
Collect necessary documents from clients and ensure proper verification and submission for processing.
Coordinate with credit, risk, and operations teams
for application processing and disbursement.
Follow up with prospective clients and ensure timely closure of leads.
Maintain and update a daily sales report and lead tracker.
Build and maintain strong relationships with MSME clients to ensure repeat business and referrals.
Keep up to date with product knowledge, market trends, competitor offerings, and RBI/NBFC regulatory changes.
Key Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Commerce, or related field.
1-3 years of experience
in selling business loans, working capital loans, or SME loans (preferred).
Strong understanding of MSME/SME customer profiles and business finance basics.
Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
Comfortable with
field sales
and meeting business clients face-to-face.
Proficient in using CRM software, MS Office, and mobile sales apps.
Target-driven and able to work independently or with minimal supervision.
