The Role:
Reports to: Business Head - VTBA
As a Business Line Manager, you will be responsible for driving the growth, profitability, and strategic direction of your assigned business line. You will lead cross-functional initiatives, manage key customer relationships, and ensure operational excellence while aligning with the broader goals of the organization.
Responsibilities:
Strategic & Commercial Leadership
Identify and develop new business opportunities across the divisions and Product companies.
Define and execute the business line strategy for assigned divisions in alignment with VTBA's overall objectives.
Lead management (Manage business Leads from the touch points with internal customers ) to maximize value creation and efficient governance of the resources.
Drive consultative, value-based approaches across all the competences being offered.
Collaborate with the Divisional/Local Teams to identify the Roadmaps and build strategy to engage and add value.
Identify and build new competencies to support the Divisions
Customer & Market Engagement
Build and maintain strong relationships with key accounts and stakeholders.
Understand customer needs and translate them into actionable business solutions.
Monitor project trends, customer feedback to manage customer needs.
Operational Excellence
Oversee day-to-day operations of the business line, ensuring efficiency and compliance.
Collaborate with internal teams (R&D, Supply Chain, Marketing, Service) to deliver customer value.
Track and report on KPIs, financial performance, and operational metrics.
Maintain and improve Profitability by Managing costs.
Team & Culture
Lead, coach, and develop a high-performing team.
Foster a culture of accountability, innovation, and continuous improvement.
Promote cross-functional collaboration and knowledge sharing.

What we expect of you?
Qualifications & Experience
--------------------------------
Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Mechanical or related field); MBA is a plus.
Minimum 15-20 years of experience in a commercial or technical leadership role.
Proven track record in business development, P&L management, and customer engagement.
Experience in a matrix organization and working with global teams is preferred.
