Role Summary
The
Business Lead - Xpand
is a senior leadership role responsible for driving
high-value sales conversions and timely push to production
for premium residential interior projects ranging from
?10-50 Lakhs
.
This role acts as the
single point of accountability
from lead allocation through sales closure, design finalisation, and production push. The Business Lead manages a senior design team, leads high-stakes client interactions, drives negotiations and closures, and ensures predictable revenue flow and execution readiness.
Monthly Business Responsibility:
?90 Lakhs - Sales Conversion
?60 Lakhs - Push to Production (PO Release)
This role is critical to maintaining premium design standards, superior client experience, revenue predictability, and execution timelines for Xpand (Premium) projects.

Roles & Responsibilities1. Lead Ownership & Sales Management
Receive qualified premium leads from the sales pipeline
Own the lead lifecycle end-to-end, from allocation to closure
Decide lead handling strategy:
Personally handle key/high-value client discussions, or
Route leads through the Design Team Leader / Lead Designers
Guide the team on:
Client requirement understanding
Budget and feasibility alignment
Premium scope and design intent communication
Lead negotiations, pricing discussions, and final closures
Maintain a clean, realistic, and high-quality sales pipeline
Achieve sales targets through direct contribution and team performance
2. Team Leadership & Performance Management
Manage a team of:
1 Design Team Leader
2 Lead Designers
Allocate leads strategically across the team
Drive individual designer targets:
?30 Lakhs sales conversion per designer
?20 Lakhs PO per designer
Monitor and review:
Active lead count per designer
Conversion ratios
Closure and design timelines
Coach designers on:
Premium client communication
Design presentation and storytelling
Managing client expectations and objections
Conduct regular performance reviews to ensure timely target achievement
3. Design Coordination & Push to Production
Ensure closed projects are promptly assigned and driven through the design team
Maintain design quality standards:
Premium detailing and aesthetics
Alignment with approved budgets and scope
Execution feasibility
Drive timely design freeze and ensure:
BOQs are finalised accurately
POs are released without delays
Push projects into production efficiently to meet PO targets
4. Timelines, Quality & Client Experience
Maintain structured and predictable sales and design timelines
Minimise rework through clear requirement and scope freezing
Ensure:
Smooth transition from sales to execution
High-touch, premium client experience
Balance between design excellence and delivery timelines
5. Process, Reporting & Coordination
Coordinate closely with:
Design team
Production team
Execution team
Ensure seamless project handover with complete documentation
Track and report:
Lead stages
Sales conversion status
Design progress
Production push / PO status
Proactively flag risks, delays, or dependency issues

Monthly sales conversion achieved
