OBJECTIVES/PURPOSE

  • Responsible for maximizing patient outcomes of the Takeda portfolio of Oncology products in the designated territories/accounts
  • Drive account stakeholder relationships through managing a team of Business Account Managers
ACCOUNTABILITIES.

Business
  • Drive patient outcomes in the defined territory by following brand and sales strategies defined as a part of annual/medium-term plans
  • To achieve defined results, providing weekly, monthly and quarterly analysis and assessment of KPIs related to physician coverage, planned/actual number of visits, data of internal and external measures of visit efficiency
  • Developing meaningful engagements with KOLs & HCPs and improving the sales team's competencies in this area
  • Ensuring external stakeholders receive proper product messaging in an effective & sufficient manner in compliance with the local regulations
  • To keep up to date on developments about Oncology market and generate insights on probable effects of these developments on Takeda & provide relevant advice on updating Takeda strategies pro-actively
  • In accordance with the yearly plans, keeping track of & managing the budget
  • Through periodic communication & meetings keeping the sales team up-to-date on objectives, strategy and Takeda standards
  • Provide a vision for the field force that is in-line with the overall franchise vision and ensure objectives are met in a reliable & sustainable manner
People
  • Managing & improving the team through personal leadership skills
  • Evaluating the team with performance reviews & coaching
  • Managing, motivating & improving upon the field force to achieve business results for the company & franchise
  • Providing analyses & insights on the field force structure to lead general strategic planning
  • As a people manager, being responsible for hiring, coaching, training needs
  • Foster strong relationships and work effectively with the wider cross-functional team

Experience and Education
  • Bachelor's Degree in science/Pharmacy
  • PGDBA/MBA desirable not necessary
  • Minimum of 10-12 years of industry experience with at least 5 years within specialty care environment and people management (Pharma); preferably in Oncology
  • Experience in managing customer relationships across the full spectrum of customer types in healthcare industry
  • Account management experience desirable
