Job Description

The role will involve identifying and developing new business opportunities, forging strategic partnerships, building and maintaining client relationships, and collaborating with internal teams to drive growth and revenue.

Business Growth & Revenue Generation:



Develop and execute business development strategies to drive revenue growth.

Identify, evaluate, and pursue new market opportunities, conduct market research to understand customer needs and market demands.

Conduct market research on IT products, including ERP systems, customized software solutions, web portals, and mobile applications, to identify potential business opportunities and emerging trends.

Drive lead generation, customer acquisition, and retention strategies.

Establish sales targets, KPIs, and revenue forecasts aligned with company's vision/mission.

Client Relationship Management:



Establish and maintain strong relationships with existing PSU's and prospective clients.

Engage with senior leaders and decision-makers to understand business challenges and offer tailored IT solutions.

Ensure high level of customer satisfaction and drive renewals.

Strategic Partnerships & Alliances:



Drive sales revenue across government verticals including central government ministries, state government ministries, PSU's and private industries.

Develop and execute a sales strategy to achieve revenue and growth targets, lead negotiations, and close deals that align with the company's offerings in software development.

Negotiate high-value deals, contracts, and partnerships to drive business expansion.

Represent the company at industry events, networking forums, and conferences.

Establish Business Development (BD) goals for the team and define an organizational roadmap to drive growth, and align with strategic objectives."

Market Analysis and Reporting:



Regularly report on the business activities, pipeline, and forecasting to senior management.

Provide feedback to internal teams about market conditions, customer preferences, and product/service improvements & provide insights and recommendations to the executive team for business growth

Monitor industry trends, competitor activities, and emerging technologies to stay ahead in the market.

Leadership & Team Management:



Lead, mentor, and grow the business development teams.

Provide training and guidance on effective sales techniques and customer relationship management.

Functional Skills:



Should be well-versed with the new technologies of the software

Should have advanced command in MS. Office

Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to create presentations, proposals, and reports.

The candidate must have experience working in the IT industry and handling government projects in the Power/Energy sector. And proven expertise in the GEM Portal.

Pay: Up to ?3,000,000.00 per year
