This role is for a unique, inspiring business leader with the experience, ability and drive to turn start-up operations into success stories. This role requires a strong background in P&L management, sales and marketing, people management, customer focus and a passion for great storytelling.
Candidates must have recent success stories to demonstrate.
Essentials: 15-20 years' experience in the travel and leisure business out of which at least 3 years in leadership position.
Candidates from other industries are welcome as long as they have personal experience of traveling to multiple countries and are passionate about travel and customer experience.
Here's what you'd be doing (but not limited to)
P&L responsibility- ensure revenues are achieved and costs are as per the annual budget.
Lead the creation of innovative product development, identify unique concepts/destinations.
Deliver top-class customer experience.
Develop the sales and distribution framework.
Lead, motivate and train team members.
Manage day-to-day operations.
Identify and source vendors (hotels/car fleets/destination management companies, etc.), negotiate exclusive deals.
Manage relationships with airlines and GSAs.
Maintain the collections and payment cycles.
Represent the organization in travel shows, seminars.
Manage a team of representatives from all over the world.
