Drive Internatioanl partnerships, market entry, access pathways, and patient-centric initiatives across cross-functional teams.
Map rare disease epidemiology and identify potential patient cohorts for targeted access programs.
Establish referral networks, diagnostic enablement initiatives, and early detection pathways.
Build and implement pricing, reimbursement, and health-economic strategies for orphan drugs.
Engage with government bodies, payers, and health authorities to secure sustainable access models.
Lead policy advocacy through evidence generation and multi-stakeholder collaboration.
Build strong relationships with clinicians, treatment centres, and NGOs.
Manage partnerships for compassionate use, early access, and patient assistance programs.
Ensure effective coordination with medical, regulatory, supply chain, and field teams.
Drive revenue targets, business growth, budgeting, forecasting, and operational planning for the orphan drug portfolio.
Required Skills:
MBBS/MD with 10+ years of experience in the pharmaceutical industry with 5+ years in patient access, rare/orphan diseases, or market access roles.
Strong knowledge of orphan drug regulations, pricing, reimbursement, and patient access models.
Proven leadership and cross-functional team management experience.
Excellent stakeholder management with government bodies, payers, NGOs, etc.
Strategic thinking and business acumen with a patient-centric approach.
Ability to drive operational excellence, budgets, and performance metrics.
