We are seeking a highly execution-focused Business Head / General Manager Candles to lead and scale our candles business vertical. This role requires a hands-on leader with a proven track record of building and scaling a ?50100 Cr business, strong operational execution skills, and deep understanding of the candles / home fragrance / FMCG gifting ecosystem.This is a P&L ownership role, focused on growth, margins, buyer acquisition, and repeat business--not a PowerPoint-only strategy role.Ideal Candidate Profile
5-12 years of relevant experience in Candles, Home Fragrance, FMCG Gifting, or adjacent categories
Has successfully built or scaled a ?50-100 Cr business vertical in the past
Strong execution mindset with ability to translate strategy into on-ground results
Comfortable working cross-functionally with sales, sourcing, production, supply chain, and marketing
Deep understanding of domestic & international buyer dynamics
Key Responsibilities
Own complete P&L responsibility for the candles business
Drive revenue growth through new buyer acquisition and expansion of existing accounts
Identify and launch new product lines, fragrance ranges, and formats aligned with market demand
Execution & Operations
Ensure strong execution across sourcing, manufacturing, quality, and supply chain
Optimize costs while maintaining quality and margin targets
Drive speed-to-market and operational excellence
Buyer & Market Expansion
Lead buyer onboarding across domestic and international markets
Strengthen long-term customer relationships to drive repeat orders
Identify new channels: retail, gifting, export, private label, and institutional buyers
Team & Leadership
Build, mentor, and lead high-performing teams across functions
Create accountability-driven culture focused on outcomes and results
Strategy & Scale
Define growth roadmap to scale the candles vertical sustainably
Monitor category trends, fragrance innovations, and competitor landscape
