Position Overview
As the
Business Head - Admissions
, you will be responsible for achieving ambitious business targets for student admissions across the four program stacks. You will lead a high-performance admissions team, strategize student acquisition campaigns, build ethical enrollment processes, and ensure the delivery of accurate program guidance to prospective students.
This role demands leadership, integrity, a strong sense of responsibility, and the ability to mentor and manage teams that uphold the academic and professional credibility of Technovalley.
Key Responsibilities
1. Admissions Strategy & Target Ownership
Own and drive the admissions business plan with clear monthly, quarterly, and annual targets.
Design and implement effective lead generation and conversion strategies across digital, on-ground, and institutional outreach channels.
Monitor daily and weekly funnel metrics, forecast enrollment numbers, and take corrective actions to meet targets.
2. Team Leadership & Development
Recruit, train, and mentor Academic Advisors and Admissions Officers.
Ensure team members provide clear, ethical, and accurate program counseling without misrepresentation or aggressive sales tactics.
Establish and enforce performance metrics, feedback loops, and regular reviews to maintain accountability and excellence.
3. Student-Centric Admissions Process
Oversee the development of student guidance protocols that emphasize career alignment and program suitability.
Build and sustain trust-based relationships with prospects, parents, and institutional partners.
Establish frameworks to identify and address student concerns during the pre-admission and onboarding stages.
4. Compliance & Quality Assurance
Ensure that all admissions operations strictly follow internal SOPs and external regulatory standards.
Prevent misinformation or exaggerated promises by establishing content guidelines and team compliance audits.
5. Collaboration & Reporting
Coordinate closely with Program Heads, Marketing, and Academic Operations to align admissions messaging with delivery.
Deliver periodic reports on admissions pipeline, conversion ratios, market feedback, and team performance to the leadership team.
Qualifications & Requirements
Mandatory:
Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Business Administration, Education Management, or a related field.
Minimum 5 years of proven experience in leading admissions/business development teams in the higher education, edtech, or training sectors.
Track record of selecting, training, and grooming high-performing advisors with zero tolerance for unethical counseling.
Preferred:
Experience in selling global standard IT certification programs.
Exposure to international markets or student recruitment in a multi-geography context.
Understanding of B2C and B2B2C sales cycles in the academic domain.
