Role Description



TDW is a regulatory reporting application responsible for submitting aggregated reports as part of various regulations across the globe like MIFID, CSDR, SFTR, MMSR, FINRA etc.

Business Functional Analyst

Role will be responsible to gather requirements, analyze the requirement and prepare functional technical design document and work closely with development team to build critical components on regulatory reporting platform and ensuring that their implementation aligns with our end state architecture. This person will also be responsible to make sure development team to align with business needs and as well as delivering Quality software. This is a hands-on role and will require experience in Business-driven development

Your key responsibilities:



Gather and analyze business and regulatory requirements from stakeholders. Prepare clear and comprehensive functional design documents. Collaborate with development teams to ensure solutions align with business needs and end-state architecture. Bridge communication between business users and technical teams. Support and participate in testing activities to ensure quality deliverables. Ensure solutions meet regulatory and compliance standards. Facilitate agile development by clarifying requirements and prioritizing features. Monitor implementation to ensure alignment with business objectives. Contribute to process improvements and best practices within the team.



Your skills and experience:



Strong understanding of financial regulations (e.g., MIFID, SFTR, CSDR). Knowledge of securities ( bonds / equities) and derivatives trade lifecycle. Proven experience in developing distributed, high-throughput, highly available, and scalable systems. Ability to gather and analyze basic application performance metrics. Skilled in aligning functional solutions with target architecture and contributing to effective solution design. Extensive experience in formal business and functional process analysis. Hands-on software development expertise, with a focus on unit and integration testing as standard practice. Experience with Agile and Scrum methodologies, including participation in daily stand-ups and iterative delivery. Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to articulate issues and risks to management and stakeholders. Excellent interpersonal skills; able to work effectively in a diverse, global team. Self-directed, proactive, and results-driven approach. Ability to prioritize and focus in high-pressure environments. Experience collaborating closely with Development and Quality Assurance teams. Ability to analyze and resolve software defects promptly. Experience training and mentoring team members.
