In this role, you will:

  • Manage and develop a team of Business Execution Consultants while ensuring successful planning, integration, impasse resolution, and measurement of operations with moderate to high complexity and visibility
  • Engage functional leaders to obtain resources, influence outcomes, address conflict, and ensure alignment with Wells Fargo's policies and business line objectives
  • Identify potential risks when implementing change along with developing mitigation strategies and plans
  • Recommend opportunities for Business Execution process improvement
  • Determine appropriate strategies and actions of multiple business groups to meet moderate to high complex deliverables
  • Interpret procedures and processes, and provide leadership to strategize and execute a variety of programs, services, and initiatives that are significant in scope, complexity, and risk
  • Collaborate with and influence functional business partners, leaders, and executive management to provide support and drive strategic initiatives for the business
  • Manage allocation of people and financial resources for Business Execution
  • Develop and guide a culture of talent development to meet business objectives and strategy
Required Qualifications, US:
  • 6+ years of Business Operations, Implementation, or Strategic Planning experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education
  • 3+ years Management experience

  • Drive transformation of Corporate Risk global delivery operations in I&P by defining the long term and short-term strategic priorities and agenda
  • Develop the target state design for the operations and build transformation agenda, book of work and team to realize the ideal operating target state
  • Lead the implementation of Risk/Control/Governance Management Transformation initiatives providing program management support in partnership with senior business stakeholders
  • Execute the day-to-day organizational operating model in partnership with the enabling functions
  • Comfortable with initial ambiguity and at the same driving towards pragmatic business strategy focused solutions
  • Collaborate with and influence all levels of professionals, including executive level leadership and senior global stakeholders
  • Identify opportunities and strategies for process improvement
  • Manage allocation of people and financial resources
Job Expectations
  • Organize, lead, and facilitate cross-business, cross-entity, and enterprise-wide initiatives that encompass an end-to-end analysis of business governance processes and developing solutions that require specialized knowledge or skill relevant to the redesign and transformation of business governance processes.
  • Facilitate, coordinate, and arbitrate periodic working groups with cross-functional teams to drive the conversation and partner with stakeholders to deliver end to end solutions
  • Resolve complex problems, perform data analysis, and risk assessments, identify impacts/gaps and demonstrate good analytical skills in order to validate and prioritize dynamic risks and issues
  • Appropriately assess risk when business decisions are made, applying sound ethical judgment regarding conduct and business practices, and escalating control issues with transparency
  • Engage with LoBs and corporate functions both at IP and enterprise level to understand the business context and establish priorities.
  • Trusted & resourceful partner for senior management stakeholders to conceptualize & execute programs to improve the effectiveness, efficiency and experience delivered through business processes engineering and transformation.
  • Is a strong people manager; builds high performing and diverse teams, able to lead geographically dispersed teams, sets and achieves high standards for self and team. Compassionate leader with humility and someone who possess broad-based thinking ability.
  • A demonstrated track record of effectively and constructively leading change in large, complex, and global organization(s). Ability to understand/sense the varying decision-making styles and navigate effectively
Essential Qualifications
  • 12+ years of relevant experience, within the Financial Services industry or Big Four consulting required, during which s/he applied formal strategic planning and project management methodologies to the successful planning, monitoring, and reporting of complex projects spanning geographies and organizations
  • Strong understanding of Risk Management Framework and second line Risk Management operations
  • Strong collaborative management style, with an execution- and results-oriented focus. Ability to manage/deal with uncertainties and the zeal to identify opportunities in adversities
  • Great communications skills. High EQ and ability to work effectively in a matrix organization.
  • Demonstrated creative out-of-the box, and analytical approach to problem solving
  • Highly flexible, good tolerance for ambiguity and able to quickly adapt to changing priorities
  • Knowledge of the financial services industry and understanding of the emerging trends, compliance, regulatory, and economic environment, and the impact on Wells Fargo
  • MBA from top tier institute and/or graduate degree in Engineering
