About this role: Wells Fargo is seeking a Business Execution Consultant to support our Tactical automation suite of projects within CIB Front Office In this role, you will: The role involves working closely with the Wells Fargo India Front office and Corporate and Investment Banking team in the following areas. There would with significant opportunities to learn, develop and work as an integral member of I&P Corporate and Investment Banking business by working on critical business problems Identifying and executing process or product automation / enhancement solutions by providing technical expertise in the development of computer applications/ programs or by implementing or developing analytical tools to build efficiency in various work products in Investment Banking, Corporate Banking, Equity research, financial modeling, or Credit research business Develop new applications (VBA for Excel macros, SQL and Teradata Studio Express, Python (Anaconda, Miniconda, NLTK, SPACY, anything in the Anaconda inventory), PowerApps, Notepad++, SharePoint Online, Alteryx and Power BI) processes outside of the standard systems / processes based on requirements of various business teams. Prepare programming specifications and complete programming tasks to develop basic, and/or assist in the development of moderately complex, computer solutions. Experience with design, development, testing and deployment of technology applications and macros. Microsoft Office, Windows Form Building (i.e., VBA, Macros) SQL Statement Writing/Coding (PL, TL and JET engine). Should have VBA skills to complete the following development: Forms, Report, and Security, create Loops, If Then Statements and Class Development, etc. Performs maintenance and/or simple modification application programming tasks and assists with testing and debugging applications/programs. May write queries or code to extract data and/or validate data loads using query wizard and design view to create joins, Expression builder and working with Pivot tables, DateDiff and IIF functions. Should have the ability to build SQL Statements with attributes such as: Parameters, Joins (Inner, Outer and Equal), Query types (Pass Through, Union, Cross Tab, Update, Append, Delete), Nested Queries and Query Optimization Theory, etc. Update related documentation and procedures. Participate / Lead testing activities in accordance with project plan and task delivery deadlines. Performs modeling, simulations and analysis, prepares program test data, tests and debugs programs. Updates and completes documentation, procedures and user guides. Participate in testing and updating the business continuation plan provides assistance and guidance wherever required. Use diagnostic tools and/or analyzes and uses vendor specifications to troubleshoot complex computer application problems to maintain or restore service or data to programs, leads the resolution of complex issues or escalates as needed to meet established service level agreements.
