Role Description

As part of the Business Domain \xe2\x80\x9cSales & Marketing\xe2\x80\x9d you will play a key role in the Digital Transformation of the Core Businesses of SoftwareONE.
Being a Rollout, Transition and Support Consultant, your focus will be on supporting our globally used Sales & Marketing applications, which include our ERP and CRM systems. Due to your expertise, you will be the to-go person for our users and a broad mix of internal stakeholders, whenever they need help in using our tools or they are having new requirements for system enhancements.
You will work closely with various business stakeholders across our Sales & Marketing organisation to inform them about the upcoming changes and new developments that are being deployed to digitally transform the core business processes and applications.
Apart from that, you will have frequent interactions with our end-users, gather their feedback and responses after system deployments and evaluate it and define the next action steps together with the technical teams. Furthermore, you will work with Testers, Product Owners and UAT personnel within the Business Domain Sales & Marketing to develop the processes and requirements and transition the improvement into the business as well as with the different development and architecture leads to build the digital solutions.


Key Responsibilities


  • End-user support of our Sales and Marketing applications, including our ERP and CRM systems
  • Understanding the client\xe2\x80\x99s product- or service-related requirements and priorities
  • Supporting the development and implementation of new features or services within our Sales & Marketing applications
  • Coordinating the transition of new features or services across teams and business domains on a global level
  • Informing and keeping users and organisations in various countries up to date on Release planning, using multiple communication channels
  • Maintaining and monitoring transition of new services, features and releases
  • Communicating with stakeholders to determine if the new functionalities meet their requirements and gather feedback
  • Breaking down feedback into ideas to help technical teams, Product Owners and Product Managers to understand the feedback given
  • Managing deployments, releases, workarounds and bug fixes together with the development team
  • Providing hyper care or first level support directly after transition
  • Ensuring knowledge transfer within the dev team
  • Supporting transformation and change management activities



Key Relationships


  • Every-day collaboration with your peers from all around the world (Europe, North America, South America, Asia)
  • Close collaboration with various team members within the Business Domain \xe2\x80\x9cSales & Marketing\xe2\x80\x9d (e.g. Product Owner, Consultants, Developers)
  • There will be frequent opportunities to exchange with other Rollout, Transition & Support Consultants across all Business Domains to exchange knowledge and best practices
What we need to see from you:
Skillset & Qualifications

  • 2+ Years of experience working in IT/Software Consulting
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English (additional language skills, especially German and / or Spanish, are a plus)
  • Great knowledge of 2nd / 3rd level support and proven work experience in IT support / customer care
  • You are able to \xe2\x80\x9cwalk in the customers shoes\xe2\x80\x99\xe2\x80\x9d
  • Proven work experience with ERP systems (Microsoft Navision or Business Central is a plus)
  • Knowledge about sales processes or previous work experience in a sales organisation
  • Experience in Requirements/UAT/Feedback engineering for systems and applications
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
  • Excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail
  • Ability to work independently whilst all providing coaching and mentoring to team members
  • Experience in working in international companies is a plus
  • Highly self-motivated and courage to try something new and to speak up to change, not hesitating to question the status quo and dare to propose the unexpected
