Job Title: Business Development Manager - Sanitaryware & Bath Fittings
Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced and results-driven Business Development Manager to lead growth initiatives for our sanitaryware and bath fittings retail business. The role involves identifying new business opportunities, building strong customer and dealer relationships, and driving sales performance through effective strategies and partnerships.
Key Responsibilities:
Business Growth & Sales
Develop and execute strategies to increase retail and wholesale sales of sanitaryware and bath fittings.
Identify new business opportunities, including B2B partnerships with architects, interior designers, contractors, builders, and real estate developers.
Drive revenue growth through targeted marketing campaigns, product promotions, and dealer engagement.
Client Relationship Management
Build and maintain strong relationships with key customers, dealers, and channel partners.
Provide product presentations, technical guidance, and after-sales support to enhance customer satisfaction.
Negotiate contracts, pricing, and bulk orders with institutional and corporate clients.
Market Development
Conduct market research to identify industry trends, competitor activities, and customer preferences.
Expand the retail presence by identifying new locations, dealer networks, or franchise opportunities.
Suggest new product ranges and assist with merchandising strategies to maximize sales.
Team & Operations Support
Work closely with the retail sales team to set and achieve monthly/quarterly sales targets.
Train and motivate sales staff on product knowledge and customer handling techniques.
Coordinate with suppliers, distributors, and logistics teams to ensure timely stock availability.
Qualifications & Skills:
Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or related field (MBA preferred).
3-7 years of experience in sales/business development, preferably in sanitaryware, bath fittings, or building materials industry.
Strong network of contacts with architects, builders, and contractors is highly desirable.
Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
Ability to analyze market trends and prepare sales forecasts.
Goal-oriented with proven track record of achieving sales targets.
