Job Overview:

We are looking for an enthusiastic and dynamic Business Development Manager to join our team. Based in Trichy (W.B Road and Mannarpuram), this role is ideal for someone with an MBA and a background in civil engineering (BE Civil) who has at least 3 years of experience in retail showroom sales and telecalling. The Business Development Manager will be responsible for driving business growth through developing new leads, managing client relationships, and expanding our customer base in the retail sector.

Key Responsibilities:

Lead Generation and Market Expansion:*

Identify and target new business prospects within the retail showroom space.
Leverage existing contacts and build new relationships to create opportunities for partnerships and sales.
Conduct telecalling to generate leads and nurture potential clients.
Client Relationship Management:*

Develop and maintain strong relationships with customers, understanding their needs and ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction.
Collaborate with clients to identify new sales opportunities and provide solutions based on their specific requirements.
Sales and Negotiation:*

Work closely with the sales team to create targeted strategies that drive sales in the retail showroom sector.
Negotiate terms, pricing, and contracts to close deals and meet revenue goals.
Assist in formulating and implementing sales strategies to maximize growth.
Telecalling & Follow-Up:*

Conduct regular follow-ups via phone and email with leads and customers.
Provide information, answer questions, and guide potential clients through the purchasing process.
Reporting and Market Insights:*

Track sales performance, report on progress, and present insights to senior management.
Analyze market trends, competitor activities, and customer feedback to inform future business strategies.
Team Collaboration:*

Collaborate with the marketing team to create promotions, campaigns, and marketing materials for the retail showroom.
Coordinate with internal teams to ensure smooth customer onboarding and service delivery.

Qualifications:

Education:*

MBA or BE in Civil Engineering (preferably).
Experience:*

Minimum 3 years of experience in marketing, retail showroom sales, and telecalling.
Previous experience in business development and customer relationship management in retail is highly desirable.

Skills:*

Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Experience with telecalling and lead generation.
Excellent negotiation, persuasion, and closing skills.
Knowledge of CRM software and office productivity tools.
