Job Description

A Business Development for highway infrastructure companies is responsible for identifying and pursuing new business opportunities, building relationships with key stakeholders, and driving sales strategies to expand the company's market presence. This role involves market research, strategic planning, contract negotiation, and ensuring projects align with organizational goals.

Experience: 5 years to 15 years

Key Responsibilities:

Identifying and Developing New Business:



This includes researching market trends, identifying potential clients, and developing strategies to acquire new projects and contracts within the highway infrastructure sector.

Building and Maintaining Relationships:



Establishing and nurturing strong relationships with key stakeholders such as government agencies, contractors, suppliers, and potential clients is crucial.

Developing and Implementing Sales Strategies:



Creating and executing effective sales plans to achieve targeted revenue growth and market share within the highway infrastructure sector.

Negotiating Contracts:



Managing the negotiation process for contracts related to highway infrastructure projects, ensuring favorable terms and conditions for the company.

Project Management:



Coordinating with various teams (engineering, operations, etc.) to ensure successful project execution and delivery, from initial planning to completion.

Market Research and Analysis:



Staying informed about market trends, competitor activities, and emerging technologies within the highway infrastructure industry.

Presentations and Proposals:



Developing and delivering compelling presentations and proposals to potential clients and stakeholders.

Representing the Company:



Attending industry events, conferences, and networking opportunities to promote the company and its capabilities.

Skills and Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, or a related field.



Excellent communication and interpersonal skills:



Ability to build rapport with diverse stakeholders, negotiate effectively, and present information clearly and persuasively.

Strategic thinking and planning:



Ability to analyze market data, develop strategic plans, and adapt to changing market conditions.

Project management skills:



Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, coordinate with various teams, and ensure timely and successful project delivery.

Knowledge of the highway infrastructure industry:



Understanding of construction processes, materials, regulations, and market dynamics within the highway sector.
