Job Summary:
We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven
Business Development Executive
to join our team and drive growth in our
transport and logistics solutions
segment. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in B2B sales, particularly within logistics, fleet management, Security and Facility Management or transport-related services. Your main goal will be to identify new business opportunities, build relationships, and close deals that align with our company's transport service offerings.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead Generation & Prospecting:
Identify and pursue new business opportunities through market research, networking, cold calling, and attending industry events.
Client Engagement:
Develop and maintain relationships with key decision-makers in IT, ITES, Banking, logistics, warehousing, manufacturing, and retail companies.
Sales Presentations:
Prepare and deliver compelling presentations and proposals tailored to client needs regarding transport, logistics, and mobility solutions.
Negotiation & Deal Closure:
Lead negotiations, create customized pricing, and close sales in alignment with company goals.
Market Intelligence:
Stay updated on market trends, competitor activities, and industry best practices to identify new sales opportunities.
Cross-Functional Collaboration:
Work with operations, finance, and customer support teams to ensure seamless onboarding and execution of services.
CRM & Reporting:
Maintain accurate records in the CRM system and provide regular reports on sales activities, pipeline status, and forecasts.
Customer Retention:
Ensure client satisfaction and identify opportunities for upselling or cross-selling additional services.
Key Requirements:
Education:
Bachelor's degree in Business, Logistics, Supply Chain, Marketing, or a related field, MBA (preferred).
Experience:
4-6 years of experience in B2B sales, preferably in transport, logistics, supply chain, or mobility solutions, Security and Facility Management, Car Rental companies.
Skills:
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Proven track record in achieving or exceeding sales targets.
Ability to understand and articulate technical service offerings.
Negotiation and contract management skills.
Familiarity with CRM tools (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot).
Other Requirements:
Valid driver's license (if travel is required).
Willingness to travel locally or regionally as needed.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience in fleet management, 3PL/4PL services, or intelligent transport systems.
Knowledge of regulatory standards in transportation and logistics.
Network of industry contacts in the logistics or transportation sectors.
