Job Opening: Business Development Executive - MakersHub

Location: Coimbatore, Tamil Nadu (Hybrid/On-site)

MakersHub is transforming education with STREAM (Science, Technology, Research, Engineering, Arts & Math)-based learning. We create hands-on, project-driven experiences that equip students with the skills of the future--Robotics, AI, IoT, 3D Printing, and more.

Along with our student programs, we empower edupreneurs through our Franchise Program, helping them set up MakersHub Innovation Labs across India. We're now looking for a Business Development Executive to expand our program sales, partnerships, and franchise network.

What You'll Do

Drive Business development activities of MakersHub's educational kits, programs, and training services to schools, parents, and institutions.

Identify and onboard new franchise partners / edupreneurs, guiding them through the setup process.

Develop strong client and franchisee relationships to ensure long-term success.

Plan and execute digital + offline marketing campaigns to promote MakersHub programs and franchise opportunities.

Represent MakersHub at events, workshops, and exhibitions to generate leads and attract potential franchisees.

Collaborate with the content and design teams to create impactful marketing and sales materials.

Track and analyze sales performance, market trends, and competitor activities.

What We're Looking For

2+ years of experience in Business development (Sales & marketing), ideally in education, edtech, franchising, publishing, etc.

Strong communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.

Franchise selling, relationship marketing, B2B sales, Institutional Sales and digital selling are key experience requirements.

Ability to build and manage B2B (schools, institutions) and B2C (parents, students) relationships is added advantage.

Knowledge of digital marketing, social media campaigns, and lead generation strategies.

Entrepreneurial mindset, self-motivated, and target-driven.

Should be a good story teller.

Bonus: Experience with franchise development, CRM tools, or event marketing.
