The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of the renewable energy market, proven experience in driving B2B and B2C sales, and the ability to develop long-term strategic partnerships that contribute to revenue and brand growth.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop and execute a comprehensive business development strategy focused on expanding Hyner's footprint in the solar energy sector.
Identify and engage with potential customers including real estate developers, industrial clients, government bodies, and solar EPC partners.
Manage the complete sales lifecycle from lead generation to deal closure and post-sale relationship management.
Conduct market and competitor analysis to identify trends, customer needs, and growth opportunities.
Collaborate with the product, marketing, and technical teams to design customized solar solutions for clients.
Prepare proposals, commercial bids, and presentations for clients and stakeholders.
Lead and mentor a small team of sales executives or channel partners, where applicable.
Represent Hyner at trade shows, expos, and other industry networking events.
Consistently achieve or exceed quarterly and annual sales targets.
Required Qualifications & Skills:
Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business, Renewable Energy, or related field (MBA preferred).
7+ years of experience in business development or sales within the solar energy or renewable energy industry.
In-depth knowledge of solar products, solutions, and market dynamics in India.
Strong network within the solar ecosystem, including EPCs, consultants, and decision-makers.
Excellent negotiation, communication, and relationship-building skills.
Proven ability to work independently, manage multiple projects, and deliver results under tight deadlines.
Proficient in MS Office, CRM tools, and basic understanding of solar design/configuration is a plus.
Willingness to travel as required.
