About the internship
This candidate will be responsible for prospecting, qualifying, and generating new sales opportunities. In order to be successful in this role and meet or exceed the quota, this candidate should feel comfortable communicating with prospects via phone and email who are discovered through a variety of avenues.
Selected intern's day-to-day responsibilities include:
1. Identify new sales opportunities and handle both inbound and outbound calls to follow up
2. Make cold calls and emails to explore sales opportunities
3. Achieve quarterly milestones and close sales
4. Regularly study accounts and identify important players
5. Collaborate with teammates and work towards closing deals
6. Maintain a detailed database with all information on the prospects
7. Conduct offline demos to prospects and seal deals
8. Work on maintaining long-lasting relationships with existing customers through exceptional after-sales service
9. Work on developing in-depth knowledge of product features and benefits
