Role Overview
The Business Development & Sales Growth Officer is responsible for driving revenue, generating new business opportunities, managing client relationships, and supporting overall company growth. This role requires a proactive, target-driven individual who can identify market potential and convert leads into long-term clients.
Key Responsibilities
Business Development
Identify, research, and approach potential clients across targeted industries.
Develop and execute strategies to expand the company's market presence.
Conduct meetings, presentations, and product demos to pitch company services.
Maintain a strong pipeline of prospective leads through multiple channels (calls, emails, social outreach, networking).
Sales Growth
Achieve monthly and quarterly sales targets.
Manage the end-to-end sales cycle from lead generation to deal closure.
Prepare and share proposals, quotations, and commercial agreements.
Upsell and cross-sell company services to existing clients.
Client Relationship Management
Build and maintain long-term relationships with clients.
Understand client needs and offer tailored solutions.
Provide after-sales support and coordinate with internal teams for smooth delivery.
Market & Competitor Analysis
Monitor industry trends, competitor offerings, and customer behaviour.
Suggest improvements in sales strategy based on market insights.
Reporting & Coordination
Maintain accurate reports of leads, meetings, and sales performance.
Collaborate with the marketing, CRM, and operations teams for effective execution.
Participate in sales planning meetings and share weekly progress updates.
Skills & Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field.
1-3 years of experience in Sales/Business Development (freshers with strong communication skills may also apply).
Strong communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
Ability to meet deadlines and achieve sales targets.
Proficiency in CRM tools and basic MS Office.
