Role Overview
We're looking for a smart, enthusiastic and proactive Business Development Executive who loves meeting people, building relationships and helping brands discover the right creative solutions.
This is the perfect role for someone who wants to build a long-term career in sales, client acquisition, account growth and business development in the creative industry.
Key Responsibilities
1. Lead Generation & Prospecting
Identify and reach out to potential clients in FMCG, D2C, real estate, healthcare, education and startup ecosystems.
Generate leads through cold calling, LinkedIn outreach, networking events and referrals.
Build and maintain a strong sales pipeline.
2. Client Engagement & Relationship Building
Understand client needs, challenges and business goals through active listening.
Build long-term relationships with founders, marketing heads and brand managers.
Follow up consistently and maintain excellent rapport with prospects and existing clients.
3. Sales Strategy & Conversions
Present PickleMonk's services: Brand Communication, Films, Digital Content, Identity & Packaging.
Create and deliver sales pitches, proposals and presentations.
Negotiate effectively to close deals while ensuring value for clients.
Work closely with the creative and production teams to scope accurate project requirements.
4. Account Growth & Retention
Maintain strong communication even after project closure.
Identify upsell and cross-sell opportunities.
Ensure smooth onboarding of new clients.
5. Market Awareness
Stay updated with trends in branding, creative communication, design, video marketing and digital content.
Share insights internally to help improve pitches and solutions.
What We're Looking For
Fast learner who can quickly understand creative services and brand communication.
Enthusiastic, self-motivated and hungry to grow in the sales and creative industry.
Strong communicator with excellent listening skills.
Skilled at negotiation, rapport-building and relationship management.
Enjoys meeting people, networking and presenting ideas.
Comfortable with responsibility, targets and consistent follow-ups.
Good understanding (or willingness to learn) about branding, video content, digital campaigns and design solutions.
Eligibility
MBA (Marketing / Communication preferred)
Freshers to 2 years of experience
Experience in creative agencies, production houses, design studios or digital marketing agencies is a plus
Good spoken and written communication skills
Comfortable with local travel for client meetings
