Position:

Sales and Marketing Growth Catalyst / Business Development Sales Consultant
(Focus: Sales, Marketing, Fundraising, Partnerships, Investments)

Type:

Contract-based, pure commission (Independent Contractor)

Location:

Fully Remote (Global, with flexibility for occasional in-person meetings)

Compensation:

5-10% commission on the value of the first deal signed and funds transferred per company/partner. Upper cap of ?10 lakhs per deal. Pure performance-based - no base salary.

About the Role


Join Karan Kavach as a Business Development & Sales Consultant (contract). Leverage your network to secure investments, sponsorships, partnerships, or revenue deals with IT companies, government departments, corporations, MNCs, foundations, and other global entities.
Position our innovative safety app and services as high-value opportunities for employee wellness, branding, user growth, and market expansion.
Ideal for experienced sales, BD, marketing, or consulting professionals who excel in performance-driven environments. Significant earning potential while contributing to a high-growth startup.

Key Responsibilities



Identify and connect with decision-makers globally in IT, corporates, government, and foundations Pitch customized proposals highlighting business value (employee programs, branding, user acquisition) Negotiate and close first-time deals (funding, sponsorships, revenue-sharing) Conduct market research on global trends in tech investments, safety tech, and impact sectors Provide regular pipeline updates and collaborate with leadership Maintain full legal and ethical compliance

Qualifications



Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Finance, Sales, or related field (MBA preferred) 2+ years in sales, business development, partnerships, sponsorships, or investment pitching (international exposure a plus) Proven track record of closing deals/revenue generation Strong networking, communication, negotiation, and presentation skills Multilingual abilities and familiarity with global investment trends preferred Proficient in LinkedIn outreach, Google Workspace/Microsoft Office, and CRM tools (Salesforce/HubSpot) Existing contacts in IT firms, MNCs, government, or investment networks highly valued Passion for safety innovation, tech startups, and our crime-free vision Proactive, self-motivated, independent worker

Interview Process



Screening (30-min video call or questionnaire) - experience & network assessment Skills Assessment - sample pitch/proposal + discussion Negotiation & Fit - role-play + mission alignment interview (with CEO/CTO) Reference Check Performance Task - close one deal within 1 month (from provided leads)

Preparation Tips


Review global corporate investment trends, B2B sales strategies, LinkedIn networking, and proposal writing (resources available on LinkedIn Learning & Coursera).

Compensation & Perks



5-10% commission on first deal (capped at ?10 lakhs/deal) - paid on fund receipt Potential repeat commissions on future deals (negotiable) Travel/meeting reimbursement (up to ₹2000/month after 2+ successful deals, case-by-case) Opportunity to transition to full-time for top performers Company-provided accommodation in Bangalore if needed
