The ideal candidate will identify new business opportunities, build client relationships, and promote metallurgical products or services to customers in relevant industries such as automotive, aerospace, foundries, steel, or manufacturing. Key Responsibilities:- Identify and generate leads in the metallurgy and materials engineering sectors.- Develop and execute strategic plans to achieve sales targets and expand the customer base.- Understand technical requirements and provide solutions tailored to customer needs.- Conduct market research to identify emerging trends and business opportunities.- Build strong, long-term relationships with clients and partners.- Present and demonstrate technical capabilities of products or services.- Prepare proposals, quotations, and negotiate contracts.- Collaborate with R&D and production teams to ensure client requirements are met.- Attend industry trade shows, conferences, and networking events.- Provide regular sales forecasts, reports, and updates to management. Requirements:- Bachelor's degree in Metallurgical Engineering, Materials Science, Mechanical Engineering, or equivalent. 2-5 years of experience in business development, preferably in metallurgy, foundry, or metal-based industries.- Strong technical knowledge of metals, alloys, heat treatment, and testing methods.- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.- Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.- Proficiency in CRM tools, MS Office, and reporting tools.- Willingness to travel as needed.
