As SmarDen expands its B2B offerings and SaaS-driven platform for automation management, we are looking for a dynamic individual to work closely with the founder on driving business growth through structured proposals, client engagement, and partnership management.

Role Overview



The

Business Development & Partnerships Associate

will be responsible for managing the full cycle of B2B SaaS client interactions -- from initial outreach and proposal creation to contract finalization and account coordination. This role requires a blend of strategic thinking, communication finesse, and strong operational discipline.

You will be the bridge between SmarDen's founder, product team, and clients, ensuring every conversation, proposal, and project opportunity is handled with precision and follow-through.

Key Responsibilities



Lead Management & Client Coordination



Serve as the first point of contact for incoming B2B leads and partnership inquiries. Maintain and update the sales pipeline, tracking progress from lead generation to deal closure. Coordinate and schedule meetings between clients, the founder, and internal teams. Ensure timely follow-ups and a high level of responsiveness across all touchpoints.

Proposal & Documentation



Draft customized business proposals, pitch decks, and RFP responses in collaboration with the founder. Develop commercial quotations, technical writeups, and value propositions tailored to client requirements. Support the preparation of presentations for prospective clients and government or enterprise partners.

Strategic Support



Conduct basic market research to identify potential sectors and partners for SmarDen's automation SaaS offerings. Analyze client requirements and help structure business models for enterprise-scale projects. Work with the product and operations teams to ensure proposals align with technical capabilities and delivery timelines.

Client Relationship Management



Maintain clear communication channels with existing clients for renewals, feedback, and upselling opportunities. Track deliverables and client satisfaction post-deal to ensure a consistent and professional experience.

Desired Skills & Competencies



Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Strong ability to structure proposals, decks, and professional presentations. Organized, detail-oriented, and capable of managing multiple parallel client conversations. Basic understanding of SaaS or technology-based business models. Proficiency in tools such as Google Workspace, Notion, CRM systems (HubSpot, Zoho), and presentation design tools. Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment with direct exposure to the founder and leadership.

Qualifications & Experience



Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, or related field; MBA preferred but not mandatory. 2-5 years of experience in business development, client servicing, or pre-sales roles (preferably in SaaS, technology, or consulting). Experience preparing B2B proposals, responding to RFPs, and managing enterprise accounts will be an advantage.

Pay: ₹540,000.00 - ₹720,000.00 per year
