Furthermore, candidates interested in understanding the working of various machinery would hugely benefit from studying our wide product range of machines and get the opportunity to accompany and assist our service engineers when they visit clients for machinery repair & maintenance. In other words, this job entails a practical and real-life application of business marketing, planning & strategy. This role is suitable for Mechanical Engineering students who want to switch to Marketing, and for women looking to re-enter the workforce.

About the Role



We are building a dynamic

Sales & Business Development Outreach Team

to drive visitor engagement and lead generation for our upcoming machinery exhibition. This team will help expand our market presence and attract high-value prospects from across the city.

We are looking for confident communicators who can learn technical products quickly, conduct city-wide outreach, and represent our brand professionally.

Salary & Benefits



Monthly Salary:

?20,000 - ?30,000 (based on experience & capability)

Performance Commissions:

Key Responsibilities



Daily Coordination & Training



Spend

2 hours every morning (for first two weeks, followed by 2-3 times in a week)

in the office for planning, updates, and training with the Sales Manager. Rest of work is done from home. Learn the complete product portfolio and understand applications across industries.

Research & Lead Generation



Map industries, customer segments, and relevant regions within the city. Identify key decision-makers (owners, factory heads, engineers, procurement teams, etc.). Build and maintain accurate lead lists and customer databases.

Outreach & Communication



Execute

bulk outreach

via phone, WhatsApp, email, and field networking. Share company brochures, product details, ads, and exhibition invitations with prospects. Clearly communicate value propositions in

Kannada and English

. Understand customer requirements, pain points, and purchasing timelines.

Follow-ups & Relationship Building



Conduct timely and structured follow-ups with potential customers. Drive engagement, schedule meetings, and confirm exhibition attendance. Maintain clear records of all outreach interactions.

Exhibition Support



Support pre-exhibition promotions and visitor confirmations. Participate actively during the event--welcoming visitors, explaining products, and capturing leads. Represent the brand with professionalism and enthusiasm.

Required Skills & Qualifications



Excellent communication skills.

Fluency in Kannada and English is mandatory.

Prior experience in sales, BD, telecalling, or customer interaction preferred. Ability to learn technical machinery products (training provided). Comfortable working with spreadsheets and lead management tools. Self-driven, disciplined, and outreach-oriented.

Target-driven and enthusiastic about sales. Strong listening and interpersonal skills. Organized and good with managing data and follow-up processes. Positive attitude and strong team spirit.
Keeping all the information above in mind, we crafted this role on a 6-month rolling basis. To be clear & specific, the candidate will start working for 6 months on a fixed monthly salary (to be negotiated during the interview) , where the first 30 days will be on strict probation. During the first month, based on initiative, performance, mutual satisfaction and attitude of the candidate, we will extend employment for the final 3 months, or terminate it. Post 6 months, based on the candidate's initiative, performance, mutual satisfaction and attitude we will provide them the opportunity to convert to a full-time executive with a fixed salary and higher commission per conversion, other perks and benefits too.
