Job Summary:

We are seeking dynamic and result-oriented Business Development Officers to drive business growth and strengthen relationships with government departments and institutions across assigned regions. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in business development within the banking industry, coupled with strong experience in Government Liaisoning.

(Operations are primarily based in the state capitals.)

Key Responsibilities:



Identify and develop new business opportunities within the assigned region. Build and maintain strong relationships with government departments, institutions, and other key stakeholders. Liaise with state and local government bodies for project implementation and partnership opportunities. Drive business growth by promoting company products and services in the assigned area. o Conduct market research and competitor analysis to identify emerging opportunities. Coordinate with internal teams to ensure smooth execution of business development initiatives. Represent the organization in government meetings, tenders, and official events. Prepare and present on business performance, opportunities, and challenges in the region.

Required Skills & Competencies:



Proven experience (5-10 years) in business development, sales, or relationship management in the banking or financial sector. Strong government liaisoning skills with knowledge of procedures, tendering, and public sector engagement. Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills. Ability to work independently and handle multiple state-level operations. Proficiency in MS Office and report preparation. Fluency in English and local regional language(s) will be an advantage.

Education:



Graduate in Business Administration, Finance, Economics, or related field. MBA or equivalent qualification preferred.

Pay: ?400,000.00 - ?1,500,000.00 per year
