The Business Development Officer is responsible for identifying new business opportunities, building client relationships, and promoting the company's facade and glazing solutions. The role involves generating leads, preparing proposals, and coordinating with the estimation and project teams to secure new facade contracts.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead Generation & Market Research
Identify potential clients, projects, and market segments in the facade industry.
Track upcoming construction projects, consultants, and contractors.
Maintain an updated database of potential clients and competitors.
Client Relationship Management
Establish and maintain strong relationships with developers, architects, and contractors.
Conduct regular follow-ups and client meetings to promote company services.
Represent the company in exhibitions, trade shows, and client presentations.
Proposal & Tender Support
Coordinate with the estimation team for pricing and technical inputs.
Prepare and submit quotations, proposals, and pre-qualification documents.
Support tender negotiations and assist in closing deals.
Sales & Target Achievement
Achieve monthly and annual business development targets.
Prepare sales forecasts and performance reports for management.
Ensure smooth handover of confirmed projects to the execution team.
Qualifications & Skills:
Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Architecture, Marketing, or related field.
Minimum 4-5 years of experience in facade, aluminium, or construction industry.
Strong communication and presentation skills.
Good knowledge of facade systems, aluminium/glass products, and project workflow.
Proficiency in MS Office and CRM tools.
Ability to work independently and meet business targets.
