We are seeking a highly motivated and results-driven Business Development Officer (BDO) to join our team. The BDO will be responsible for identifying business growth opportunities, establishing relationships with potential clients, and driving the expansion of the company's market presence. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in sales, excellent communication skills, and a passion for growing business relationships.
Key Responsibilities

Business Development
:
Identify and target new business opportunities in existing and potential markets.
Research and develop a deep understanding of the market, competitors, and industry trends.
Generate leads and build relationships with potential clients to increase company revenue.
Develop and implement strategic business plans to drive growth and improve profitability.
Client Acquisition and Relationship Management
:
Initiate contact with potential clients through cold calls, emails, networking, and meetings.
Create presentations and proposals to showcase the company's products and services to prospective clients.
Develop and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, ensuring customer satisfaction and long-term business partnerships.
Coordinate and collaborate with the sales and marketing teams to tailor strategies and solutions for clients.
Negotiation and Closing Deals
:
Lead negotiations for contracts, pricing, and terms with clients.
Close deals by ensuring that all requirements and expectations are met.
Ensure the smooth transition of new clients to the delivery or operations teams.
Market Research & Analysis
:
Monitor market trends and competitive activities to identify new business opportunities.
Provide insights on customer needs and market demands to improve service offerings.
Prepare detailed reports on business development activities, sales progress, and market intelligence.
Collaboration & Teamwork
:
Work closely with internal teams such as Marketing, Product Development, and Customer Support to ensure alignment and enhance business growth.
Support and mentor junior business development team members as needed.
Sales Performance Tracking & Reporting
:
Set and achieve sales goals and targets.
Track, analyze, and report on sales performance and progress toward goals.
Prepare regular reports on business development activities, challenges, and opportunities.
Key Requirements
:
Education
: Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field (Master's degree preferred).
Experience
: 2-5 years of proven experience in business development, sales, or related roles.
Skills
:
Strong communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
Excellent problem-solving abilities.
Strong networking skills with a focus on building relationships.
Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite.
Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines.
