The ideal candidate will be responsible for identifying new business opportunities, building strong client relationships, and helping drive company growth through strategic partnerships and projects.
Key Responsibilities:
Identify and develop new business opportunities in the construction sector (residential, commercial, infrastructure, etc.).
Generate leads through networking, cold calling, site visits, and industry events.
Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, consultants, developers, architects, and other key stakeholders.
Prepare and deliver compelling proposals, presentations, and tenders in coordination with the estimating and technical teams.
Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and potential areas for expansion.
Collaborate with internal departments (e.g., engineering, finance, project management) to ensure successful project acquisition and execution.
Maintain an up-to-date CRM/database of prospects and project opportunities.
Assist in achieving company sales targets and contribute to strategic planning efforts.
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
2-5 years of experience in business development, sales, or marketing, preferably within the construction industry.
Strong understanding of construction processes, project lifecycles, and industry stakeholders.
Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
Proven ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Proficient in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint); experience with CRM software is a plus.
Valid driver's license and willingness to travel as required.
Preferred Qualifications:
* Existing network of contacts in the construction or real estate development sector. Knowledge of government tendering processes and procurement procedures. Experience with project bidding and contract negotiations.
