Business Development Officer (BDO) - Pest Control Services
Job Purpose
The Business Development Officer is responsible for generating new business, developing client relationships, increasing service contracts, and expanding market presence for pest control services in residential, commercial, industrial, and institutional segments.
Key ResponsibilitiesSales & Business Development
Identify and generate new leads through field visits, cold calling, referrals, and online inquiries
Promote pest control services (general pest control, termite control, fumigation, rodent control, mosquito control, etc.)
Conduct site inspections and understand client requirements
Prepare and submit quotations, proposals, and service agreements
Negotiate pricing and close sales deals
Achieve monthly and quarterly sales targets
Client Relationship Management
Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and new clients
Ensure timely service delivery by coordinating with operations and technicians
Handle client queries, complaints, and follow-ups
Encourage contract renewals and upselling of services
Market & Competitor Analysis
Study market trends and competitor pricing/services
Identify new business opportunities in residential, commercial, and corporate sectors
Provide feedback to management on market conditions
Reporting & Documentation
Maintain daily sales activity reports and MIS
Update CRM with leads, site visits, quotations, and closures
Track payment collections and coordinate with accounts if required
Key Skills & Competencies
Strong communication and negotiation skills
Field sales experience and customer handling ability
Knowledge of pest control services (preferred)
Target-oriented and self-motivated
Basic computer knowledge (MS Excel, CRM, email)
Qualification & Experience
Graduate or equivalent (preferred)
1-3 years of experience in field sales or service industry (pest control experience is an advantage)
Two-wheeler with valid driving license (mandatory)
Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)
Number of new leads generated
Sales closures and revenue achieved
Client retention and renewal rate
Collection efficiency
Accuracy and timeliness of MIS reports

Pay: ?22,165.00 - ?31,654.46 per month
