Role Overview:
As a Business Development Officer, you will play a key role in identifying new business opportunities, generating qualified leads, and supporting the sales process from outreach to conversion. Your ability to build strong client relationships and stay organized will directly impact ANAIKA's growth in the luxury gifting market.
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct online research (LinkedIn, Google, directories, etc.) to identify potential leads and business opportunities
Generate qualified leads through cold calling, emailing, and networking for the sales team; monitor and follow up until sales conversion
Maintain and update lead databases and CRM systems
Reach out to prospects, schedule meetings, and follow up regularly
Build and maintain strong relationships with clients and partners
Assist in preparing sales proposals, presentations, and contracts
Achieve monthly targets for lead generation and deal closures
Coordinate with marketing and sales teams to align outreach strategies
Provide regular reports on pipeline status and performance metrics
Qualifications & Skills:
Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field
MBA in Sales and Marketing preferred
1-3 years of experience in business development or sales, preferably in B2B, luxury, or gifting sectors
Strong online research, communication, and interpersonal skills
Proactive and target-driven with excellent follow-up habits
Familiarity with CRM tools and MS Office
