Job Description

As a Business Development Officer, you will be responsible for identifying new business opportunities, conducting in-depth market research, creating effective business strategies, and driving client acquisition. You will work closely with the marketing, sales, and product teams to implement initiatives that support company growth and strengthen market presence. This role requires strategic thinking, strong analytical skills, and a proactive approach to fieldwork and client engagement.

Responsibilities? Sales & Strategy Development



Conduct comprehensive market and competitor research to identify trends, opportunities, and potential risks. Develop and implement data-driven sales and business strategies aligned with company objectives. Create action plans based on research insights to improve market penetration and revenue growth.

? Client Acquisition



Identify and target potential clients and emerging business opportunities within the assigned zone. Perform field research to understand customer needs, preferences, and buying behavior. Maintain and expand a strong pipeline of prospective clients.

? Relationship Management



Build and nurture long-term relationships with new and existing clients. Provide excellent customer service to ensure high satisfaction and retention. Resolve client issues efficiently with effective solutions.

? Sales Execution



Deliver persuasive sales presentations and product demonstrations. Negotiate contracts and agreements to achieve maximum profitability. Meet or exceed monthly and quarterly sales targets.

? Research & Strategy Creation



Conduct industry-specific studies to understand changing market dynamics. Prepare strategic documents, proposals, and plans based on research findings. Identify new business models, expansion ideas, and innovative channels for growth.

? Collaboration & Coordination



Work closely with the marketing team to structure campaigns, promotional materials, and lead-generation strategies. Coordinate with product development teams to ensure offerings align with client expectations. Collaborate with other sales team members to share insights, strategies, and best practices.

? Reporting & Analysis



Track and analyze sales performance metrics to identify areas of improvement. Prepare detailed reports on sales activities, field research findings, strategy outcomes, and progress. Provide meaningful recommendations to management based on market insights.

Required Skills



Strong understanding of market dynamics, customer behavior, and industry trends. Excellent research, analytical, communication, and negotiation skills. Ability to think strategically and develop actionable business strategies. Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build professional relationships. Effective time management and ability to handle multiple priorities. Willingness to travel within the assigned zone for fieldwork. Knowledge of the local market and business environment. Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Ability to work both independently and collaboratively.

Qualification



Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or related field (Master's preferred). Proven experience in business development, sales, or a similar role. Prior experience in the

Edu-Tech industry

and

fieldwork

is highly preferred.
Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ?25,000.00 - ?50,000.00 per month
