The Opportunity: Drive Our Growth

We are seeking a highly motivated Business Development Associate or Intern who is eager to learn and contribute directly to our company's growth. This is a perfect opportunity for a fresher or intern to gain hands-on experience in the creative industry, working closely with our leadership and production teams. You will be instrumental in identifying new business leads, researching market trends, and laying the groundwork for exciting new client relationships.

Key ResponsibilitiesI. Market Research & Strategy (The Discovery Phase)

Lead Generation:

Conduct in-depth research to identify potential new clients, brands, and agency partners that align with Caliac Studios' creative capabilities.

Targeting:

Filter and segment prospects based on industry, recent campaigns, creative needs, and ideal customer profile.

Industry Analysis:

Monitor and report on industry news, competitor activities, and emerging market trends in healthcare / fitness / hospitality sector to identify new opportunities.
II. Client Outreach & Communication (The Connection Phase)

Initial Outreach:

Assist in crafting personalised and compelling introductory emails or pitches or messages to engage potential clients.

CRM Management:

Utilise and maintain our Customer Relationship Management (CRM) system to track all leads, communications, and activities accurately.

Follow-up Support:

Help coordinate and prepare materials (decks, case studies) for follow-up meetings and initial pitches.
III. Sales Support & Collaboration (The Execution Phase)

Content Development:

Assist in creating and refining sales collateral, including pitch decks, capability presentations, and custom proposals.

Meeting Participation:

Participate in internal strategy meetings and client pitches to understand the sales cycle and client needs firsthand.

Cross-Functional Collaboration:

Work closely with the Production, Marketing, and Creative teams to ensure our business development efforts are aligned with our service offerings.
What We Are Looking For (Skills & Qualifications)Essential

Currently pursuing or recently completed a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Communications, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience).

Exceptional Written and Verbal Communication Skills:

The ability to articulate Caliac Studios' value proposition clearly, concisely, and persuasively.

Strong Research and Analytical Skills:

A methodical approach to gathering data and transforming it into actionable insights.

Proactive and Self-Motivated:

A genuine desire to learn, take ownership of tasks, and contribute to measurable business outcomes. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, Excel) or Google Workspace (Docs, Slides, Sheets).
Desirable (A major plus!)

Familiarity with CRM software. A strong passion for the creative industry (video, design, animation, etc.) and an understanding of the production process. Previous experience in a sales, customer service, or public-facing role (even part-time or volunteer).
