Job Description


Position Overview: We are seeking a highly motivated and results-driven Business Development Manager to join our dynamic team. The primary focus of this role is to identify, develop, and cultivate strategic partnerships and opportunities that drive the growth of our fintech products and services. Key Responsibilities:

  • Identify Prospects: Research and identify potential partners, clients, and markets that align with our business objectives and target audience.
  • Build Relationships: Initiate and establish relationships with key stakeholders, decision-makers, and industry players to foster collaboration and explore potential partnership opportunities.
  • Negotiation and Deal Closing: Lead negotiations, contract discussions, and deal structuring to ensure mutually beneficial partnerships are formed. Close partnership agreements that contribute to revenue growth and market expansion.
  • Market Insights: Stay updated on industry trends, market dynamics, and competitive landscape to identify potential areas for business growth and product/service enhancements.
  • Cross-functional Collaboration: Collaborate with internal teams including product development, marketing, and operations to align partnership strategies with overall company goals.
  • Pipeline Management: Develop and manage a robust pipeline of potential partnerships, track progress, and provide regular updates to senior management.
  • Strategic Planning: Contribute to the development of the business development strategy, including identifying new market segments, geographies, and partnership models.
  • Metrics and Reporting: Define key performance indicators (KPIs) for evaluating the success of partnership initiatives. Provide regular reports and analysis to demonstrate the impact of business development efforts.
  • Represent the Company: Represent at industry events, conferences, and networking opportunities to raise brand awareness and identify potential partners.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor\'s degree in Business, Finance, Economics, or related field (Master\'s/MBA is a plus).
  • 2+ years of experience in business development, partnerships, or sales within the fintech or financial services industry.
  • Proven track record of successfully identifying, negotiating, and closing partnership deals.
  • Strong understanding of fintech products/services and industry trends.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strategic thinker with the ability to analyze market opportunities and formulate effective business development strategies.
  • Self-motivated and able to work independently as well as in a collaborative team environment.
  • Proficiency in using CRM software and other relevant business tools.
