About the Role
The
Business Development Manager (BDM)
will be responsible for identifying, developing, and closing new business opportunities in the solar energy domain (Rooftop / C&I / Utility / EPC). The role demands a strong understanding of solar solutions, project sales, and client relationship management. The candidate should be able to drive revenue growth by establishing strategic partnerships and expanding the company's market presence.
Key Responsibilities
Identify and develop new business opportunities across target markets (residential, commercial, and industrial solar sectors).
Generate and qualify leads through networking, client meetings, digital channels, and industry events.
Build and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers, consultants, and channel partners.
Prepare and deliver technical and commercial proposals in coordination with the design and engineering teams.
Manage the end-to-end sales cycle -- from lead generation to negotiation, closing, and handover to the project execution team.
Analyze market trends, competitor offerings, and customer needs to identify growth opportunities.
Collaborate with the marketing team for campaigns, branding, and lead generation strategies.
Maintain accurate records of sales activities, forecasts, and client communications in the CRM.
Achieve assigned sales targets and report performance metrics to senior management.
Represent the company at exhibitions, trade shows, and industry events.

Pay: ₹2,000,000.00 - ₹2,500,000.00 per year
