Business Development Manager/ Senior Business Development Manager - 3 Vacancies Location 1: Remote/Ahmedabad Location 2: Remote/Hyderabad Location 3: Remote/Bangalore Working hours: 40 hours per week Starting Date: ASAP Salary: Competitive Bonus: Sales Incentive Plan Job purpose As Business Development Manager, the incumbent will spearhead development of agent partnerships in the assigned region to promote OIDI products and provide ongoing service/support in the form of knowledge sharing, distribution of marketing materials, regular interaction with business owners, counsellors, educators and students. He / She would be required to participate in relevant events and industry forums in the region to represent OIDI and build product awareness across the region. The BDM will be responsible to achieve assigned revenue targets from the allocated region, as well as deliver on other metrics assigned by the management from time to time to achieve organisations growth objectives. You will have a sharp understanding of the study abroad space and is expected to analyse trends and support organisation growth by consistent feed of market intel to management and product groups. Main duties and responsibilities Develop new agent partnerships in the region to drive OIDI product adoption. Implement sales strategy in the region working closely with the Regional Director. Work closely with Marketing colleagues to help implement marketing strategies in the region. Conduct knowledge sharing sessions with counsellors, educators and students to create OIDI product awareness in the region. Travel extensively across the region to drive product awareness and onboard new agents. Participate in study abroad events, university fairs, agent events and other relevant events / industry forums to represent Oxford International and use them to drive product awareness & develop new partnerships. Deliver superior support to all partners across the region. Analyse study abroad trends and provide consistent market intel to management and product groups to feed into new business development strategies. Provide comprehensive market visit reports. Qualifications Educated to a minimum of degree level. Fluent in English (spoken and written) and at least one of the languages spoken in the region of responsibility. Certified training in sale and/or marketing programmes (Desirable) Experience and knowledge Relevant experience in a high-stake English test /study abroad sales environment Proficiency in languages relevant to the market Experience of developing relationships, presentation to business owners and to large student audiences Excellent knowledge of the designated region Training in a recognised sales and marketing programme (Desirable) Skills and abilities Good understanding of sales processes in the international education industry Excellent relationship management skills Comfort with extensive travel across designated region Ability to develop and execute sales plans Skilled influencer and networker Ability to tactfully trouble shoot and problem solve Ability to analyse, interpret and utilise market data Excellent presentation skills Good cultural understanding of the region (Desirable) Personal qualities Self-driven and result-oriented Strong commercial and business acumen Thinks of innovative ways of stakeholder engagement and driving business growth Strong Customer focus Decisive and resilient How to apply Applications should be made by sending a full, up-to-date resume with a 1-page supporting statement to [HIDDEN TEXT] by 22nd September.
