Note: Only candidates with proven experience in new client acquisition within the India & US Staffing industry (Direct clients) are encouraged to apply. Candidates from BPO, or non-IT sales backgrounds will not be considered for this position.
Role Summary:
This is a full-time on-site role for a Business Development Manager (BDM) within the IT staffing domain, located in Bengaluru. The BDM will be responsible for identifying and developing new business opportunities, managing client relationships, and achieving sales targets. The ideal candidate will have 5 -8 years of proven experience in business development within the resource augmentation or tech staffing industry.
Requirements

  • Prospect, identify, and qualify potential clients in need of resource augmentation and IT staffing services.
  • Develop and implement strategic business development plans to achieve sales targets and expand market share.
  • Lead the end-to-end process from initiation to closure of deals, including communication and follow-up with leads via email, phone, virtual, and face-to-face meetings.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers and stakeholders within target organizations.
  • Participate in inbound leads assignment, project requirement gathering.
  • Negotiate margins, payment terms, and SLAs, protect gross profit and DSO.
  • Create outreach campaigns with Marketing, events, webinars.
  • Maintain CRM hygiene, pipeline accuracy, and weekly forecasts.
  • Excellent Communication, Negotiation, and Presentation skill
  • Proficiency in CRM systems like Zoho, HubSpot, and Microsoft Office Suite.
Preferred candidate profile
  • 5 to 8 years of experience in IT Staffing, Talent Solutions, or Resource Augmentation sales in India & US market
  • Proven track record of lead generation and conversion, with exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
  • Drive high-value conversations with CXOs, Delivery Heads, and HR leaders to position STIPL as a trusted IT staffing partner.
  • Strong rate card and contract negotiation skills, comfort with legal and compliance basics.
  • Proven wins with enterprise or MSP and VMS environments, familiar with Zoho Recruit / Zoho CRM or similar, familiar with US and India markets.
  • Multi thread deals, meticulous follow through, data driven decision making.
  • Strong technical acumen, with familiarity in IT staffing services
  • Proactive, results-oriented, and self-driven individual with the ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Ability to understand client needs and propose technically sound solutions.
  • Candidate should possess good interpersonal skills as he needs to coordinate with the teams across India and US with regards to setting up a demo and coordinate on closing service issues.
  • Possess current B2B sales experience via cold-calling and marketing campaigns in the contingent (temp) staffing industry
Work Hours and Travel:
India business hours, travel within Bengaluru and occasional travel to client sites.
