Role Overview
We are seeking Business Development Managers for
East and North-East
. This role is
highly travel-driven, client-facing, and field-intensive
, requiring the ability to independently build relationships, develop business opportunities, and close projects across government and private sectors. You will represent DataCorp as the regional face of Sales. Strong communication, on-ground engagement, government liaisoning, and tender understanding are essential.
Key Responsibilities
Drive business development with Govt bodies (PWD, ULBs, Traffic Police, Transport Dept.) and private mobility consultants.
Build and maintain strong relationships with officials, consultants, and decision-makers.
Identify and track tenders, prepare proposals, costing, and ensure timely submissions.
Extensive travel (15-20 days/month) for client meetings, site visits, field inspections, and pre-bid meetings.
Engage clients, understand requirements, negotiate commercials, and close contracts.
Maintain CRM updates, sales reports, and market intelligence.
Skills & Competencies
Strong communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
Familiarity with transportation/traffic projects (or willingness to learn).
Ability to work independently with strong ownership and reporting discipline.
Qualifications & Experience
Bachelor's in Civil Engineering preferred; MBA is an advantage.
3-10 years' experience in BD/Sales/Govt liaisoning (transport sector preferred).
Proven sales track record and comfort with extensive travel.
Retired PWD/Govt officers with relevant domain knowledge may apply.

Pay: ?40,000.00 - ?70,000.00 per month
