This role is primarily focused on
business development
, with light founder-level coordination responsibilities that directly enable revenue and client experience.
Key Responsibilities
Identify and engage startups, SMEs, founders, and HR leaders through LinkedIn, email, referrals, networking events and partnerships
Conduct structured discovery conversations to understand hiring and people challenges
Position Recruiting Genie's services across RPO, Project-Based Talent, and People & Workplace Consulting
Qualify leads, manage follow-ups, and maintain a healthy business development pipeline
Coordinate founder-led client discussions by managing schedules, follow-ups, and next steps
Support proposal alignment, basic commercials discussions, and client communication drafts
Track opportunities, meeting outcomes, and action items to ensure momentum from conversation to closure
Develop and manage strategic partnerships with startup ecosystems, accelerators, and institutes/ colleges
What We're Looking For
2-5 years of experience in B2B business development for consulting, recruitment, or professional services
Strong communication, stakeholder management, and coordination skills
Ability to balance outreach, conversations, and execution discipline
Comfortable working closely with a Founder in a fast-paced, growth-oriented environment
Highly organised, proactive, and outcome-driven
