- Promote maintenance contracts, modernisation, and upgrades for installed elevators.
Responsibilities:
1. Business Development
Identify and pursue business opportunities with real estate developers, contractors, architects, and consultants.
Build a pipeline of projects in residential, commercial, industrial, and infrastructure sectors.
Track government and private tenders related to elevators and escalators.
2. Client Engagement
Conduct presentations, product demos, and site visits with prospective clients.
Negotiate terms, pricing, and project requirements to close deals.
Maintain long-term relationships with clients for repeat business.
3. Technical & Commercial Proposals
Work with design/engineering teams to prepare customised proposals.
Ensure compliance with safety standards (EN 81, IS codes, etc.).
Prepare BOQs (Bill of Quantities), quotations, and contracts.
4. Market Intelligence
Monitor competitors' products, pricing, and service offerings.
Identify emerging trends such as smart elevators, IoT-based monitoring, or eco-efficient solutions.
Provide feedback to product/operations teams for innovation.
5. Sales & Revenue Targets
Achieve monthly/quarterly/annual sales targets for new installations.
Drive AMC (Annual Maintenance Contract) sales and modernisation upgrades.
Support the service team in customer retention and cross-selling opportunities.
6. Collaboration & Reporting
Work with project execution teams to ensure timely delivery and installation.
Coordinate with marketing for brand-building activities (exhibitions, real estate expos).
Maintain CRM data and provide regular sales reports to management.
