Featured on Shark Tank India Season 4, We are seeking a results-driven Sales & Business Development Manager to expand our market presence, drive revenue growth, and build long-term client relationships.
Job Summary:
The Sales & Business Development Manager will be responsible for generating new business opportunities, managing key accounts, and driving sales for our pickleball products and court construction services. This role requires a strategic mindset, strong sales acumen, and a passion for sports and business growth.
Key Responsibilities:
Sales & Revenue Growth:
Develop and execute sales strategies to achieve revenue targets and expand market share.
Identify and pursue new business opportunities, including B2B partnerships, corporate sales, and institutional clients.
Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients, retailers, and distributors.
Conduct market research to identify trends, competitors, and potential customers.
Collaborate with the marketing team to create promotional campaigns and drive brand awareness.
Business Development:
Develop strategic partnerships with sports clubs, academies, and professional players to promote Goodlands' products and services.
Identify new opportunities for pickleball court construction projects and generate leads.
Attend sports events, trade shows, and industry networking opportunities to promote Goodlands.
Negotiate and close business deals, ensuring long-term contracts and repeat sales.
Account Management & Customer Relations:
Provide excellent customer service and maintain strong client relationships.
Address customer inquiries, resolve issues, and ensure satisfaction.
Work closely with the operations and logistics teams to ensure smooth order fulfillment.
Reporting & Strategy:
Track and analyze sales performance metrics, preparing regular reports for management.
Develop sales forecasts, budgets, and pricing strategies.
Suggest improvements to the sales process and implement best practices to drive efficiency.
Qualifications & Skills:
Education: Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Sales, Marketing, or a related field.
Experience: 3-5 years of experience in sales and business development, preferably in the sports industry.
Skills & Abilities:
Strong sales and negotiation skills with a proven track record of meeting or exceeding targets.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to build relationships with clients and partners.
Ability to develop and execute business growth strategies.
Self-motivated, goal-oriented, and capable of working independently.
Knowledge of pickleball or the sports industry is a plus.
Proficiency in CRM software and MS Office tools.
