Job Summary:
We are seeking a dynamic and motivated part-time Business Development Manager to join our team. The primary responsibility of this role is to generate new business opportunities by making cold calls and securing accounting and payroll clients. As a Business Development Manager, you will play a crucial role in expanding our customer base and driving revenue growth. Responsibilities:
Conduct market research to identify potential leads and target industries for accounting and payroll services.
Develop and implement a strategic cold calling plan to generate leads and convert them into clients.
Make outbound cold calls to prospective clients, effectively communicate the value proposition of our accounting and payroll services, and schedule meetings or appointments for further discussions.
Build and maintain strong relationships with prospective and existing clients, understanding their needs and tailoring our services to meet their requirements.
Collaborate with the sales and marketing team to develop compelling sales collateral and presentations to showcase our offerings.
Stay up-to-date with industry trends and competitors' activities to identify potential business opportunities and stay ahead in the market.
Track and report on sales activities, pipeline, and progress towards targets on a regular basis.
Maintain a high level of professionalism and integrity while representing the company in all client interactions.
Attend networking events, industry conferences, and trade shows to establish and expand professional networks.
Requirements:
Proven experience in business development, sales, or a related role, preferably in the accounting or payroll industry.
Excellent cold calling skills and ability to engage and persuade potential clients.
Strong knowledge of accounting and payroll services and an understanding of the value they bring to businesses.
Exceptional communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
Self-motivated and target-oriented, with a demonstrated ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
Ability to build and maintain relationships with clients and key stakeholders.
Results-driven mindset with a track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
Familiarity with CRM software and sales analytics tools is preferred.
Bachelor's degree in business administration, marketing, or a related field is a plus.
Availability to work part-time hours with flexibility in scheduling, including evenings and weekends if required.
