Business Development Manager (BDM)

to identify new business opportunities, build strong client relationships, and drive revenue growth. The ideal candidate should have excellent communication skills, strong Australian market knowledge, and a proven ability to close deals.

Key Roles & Responsibilities:

Identify, develop, and manage new business opportunities through lead generation, networking, and market research Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with clients and partners Understand client requirements and propose appropriate solutions/services Prepare proposals, quotations, and presentations for prospective clients Negotiate contracts, pricing, and commercial terms to close deals Achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets Coordinate with internal teams (Sales, Marketing, Technical, Operations) for smooth project execution Track sales activities and maintain accurate records in CRM systems Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and customer feedback Represent the company at meetings, events, and industry forums

Required Skills & Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field Proven experience as a Business Development Manager or similar sales role Strong communication, negotiation, and presentation skills Ability to work independently and handle pressure to meet targets Good understanding of sales cycles, lead conversion, and client acquisition Proficiency in MS Office and CRM tools Strategic thinking with a growth-oriented mindset

Qualification & Skills

Minimum 1-2 years' experience in transport operations, dispatch, or fleet coordination. Bachelor's degree in business, management, logistics, or a related field preferred (not essential). Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for working with staff at all levels. Strong organisational and time management abilities. Ability to take initiative and make quick operational decisions when needed. Flexible, practical approach with strong problem-solving skills. Confidentiality and diplomacy in handling sensitive information. Strong commercial awareness and focus on service delivery standards. Knowledge of digital marketing or technology solutions
