Position Overview
The
Business Development Manager
will be responsible for developing B2B partnerships, generating leads, closing commercial/industrial painting projects, managing client relationships, and driving overall revenue.

Key Responsibilities
1. Business Development & Sales
Identify and acquire
B2B clients
- builders, hotels, industries, hospitals, schools, commercial buildings, real estate projects, societies.
Generate leads through
cold calling, field visits, networking, LinkedIn, industry connections, and channel partners
.
Present service offerings, conduct site visits, create quotations, and drive negotiations.
Develop and maintain a
robust sales pipeline
with weekly reporting.
2. Strategic Partnerships
Build strong relationships with:
Architects
Interior designers
Construction contractors
Facility management companies
Waterproofing contractors
Real estate developers
Create a
referral ecosystem
to generate continuous project inflow.
3. Project Coordination (with Operation Team)
Conduct detailed site assessments and understand client requirements.
Coordinate with the operations team for project planning, material estimation, and execution.
Ensure smooth handover and client satisfaction.
4. Market Research & Intelligence
Track competitors (local contractors, branded painting services, OEM dealer contractors).
Analyse pricing trends, new technologies, demand pockets.
Provide feedback to management to improve offerings.
5. Marketing & Brand Development
Represent the company in exhibitions, networking events, and trade meets.
Collaborate with marketing team for campaigns, digital ads, brochures, and content.
Promote the brand as a
premium, professional painting service provider

Required Skills & Competencies
Technical/Industry Skills
Strong understanding of
construction, paints, coatings, waterproofing, or facility services
.
Ability to interpret BOQs, site drawings, paint specifications (optional but preferred).
Familiarity with commercial pricing, labour cost, and project estimation.
Sales Skills
Excellent
B2B sales, negotiation & closing skills
.
Ability to manage long sales cycles (commercial/industrial projects).
Strong presentation & communication skills.
Relationship-building and networking ability at senior levels.
Other Skills
Self-motivated, target-driven, proactive.
Ability to work independently and manage field activity.
Fluent in Hindi; English preferred.
Qualifications
Graduation required (MBA/PGDM in Marketing preferred).
Min 3 years of experience in B2B sales.
Experience in any of the following is a big plus:
Paint industry (OEM or dealer projects)
