Role Overview
We are seeking a proactive and results-driven Business Development Lead - IPO Advisory to join our team.
This role is pivotal in driving our mission to guide SMEs through successful capital market transactions,
particularly IPOs, while also supporting investor relations efforts. The ideal candidate will have a passion for building relationships, a foundational understanding of capital markets, and an eagerness to identify and pursue opportunities. This position is open to fresh graduates with a finance background, offering hands on training and mentorship to develop expertise in IPO advisory business development and investor relations.
Key Responsibilities
1) Pitch Development: Contribute to crafting tailored pitch decks that highlight market opportunities,
valuations, and strategic insights, collaborating closely with the team.
2) Deal Origination: Support the origination of IPO, Pre-IPO, and private equity deals by understanding
client goals and assisting in proposing customized solutions.
3) Industry Analysis: Conduct research on target industries and companies using reports and public data to gather actionable insights, building analytical skills over time.
4) Collaboration: Work with internal advisory, valuation, and investor relations teams to ensure seamless deal execution and stakeholder communication.
5) Investor Relations Support: Assist in maintaining investor communications, preparing updates, and
fostering long-term relationships to enhance funding opportunities.
6) Relationship Building: Help foster ties with SME promoters, CFOs, institutional investors, family offices, and channel partners, focusing on learning effective networking strategies
JOB DESCRIPTION
Qualifications & Skills
1) Experience: 1 to 3 years in finance, investment banking, capital markets, or related fields; fresh
graduates with a strong finance background are encouraged to apply.
2) Education: Bachelor's or Master's degree in Finance, Business Administration, Economics, or a related field.
3) Communication & Presentation: Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to
develop persuasive pitches and engage with stakeholders through practice and feedback.
4) Drive & Initiative: A self-starter with a results-oriented mindset, capable of thriving in a dynamic, fast paced environment with mentorship support.
