Education :
B.Tech / B.E. in Civil or Mechanical Engineering (or equivalent)
Experience :
3-8 years of relevant experience in Business Development or Sales within civil, infrastructure, or environmental sectors
Proven track record in
government or semi-government projects
is highly desirable
Exposure to
road/highway and urban infrastructure projects
, tendering, and bid management
Key Responsibilities :
1.
Business Development & Client Engagement
Identify and pursue new business opportunities in civil, road, and urban infrastructure projects
Engage with government departments, consultants, EPC firms, and decision-makers
Build and maintain strong relationships with new and existing clients
2.
Technical & Proposal Coordination
Collaborate with internal technical teams to develop customized solutions
Prepare and deliver professional techno-commercial presentations
Analyse client tenders, RFPs, and project requirements to align with company capabilities
3.
Tendering & Bidding
Lead preparation and submission of bids as per tender specifications
Attend pre-bid meetings and represent the company professionally
Ensure compliance with technical and commercial requirements
4.
Account Management & Reporting
Track and report sales activities, project pipelines, and business performance
Develop strategies to achieve monthly and annual sales targets
5.
Stakeholder Coordination
Collaborate with engineers, consultants, and internal teams to deliver client-specific solutions
Maintain continuous communication with clients for project updates and follow-ups
Required Skills & Competencies:
Strong business development skills in civil, road, or infrastructure sectors
Technical understanding of road, highway, and urban infrastructure projects
Knowledge of civil engineering concepts including pile foundations, geo-grids, and structural systems
Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills
Ability to prepare and deliver professional PowerPoint presentations
Strong networking, relationship-building, and client-handling abilities
Professional, self-driven, and target-oriented personality
